December 20, 1952 - August 23, 2019
Mrs. Arbouin was a beloved teacher at Juarez Academy for over 15 years before she retired in 2016.
Mrs. Arbouin was also a devoted wife and mother. She had a passion for reading and writing. Her family shared that in addition to reading 3-5 novels a week, she dedicated 5 years (hours squeezed in after teaching) to write and publish her first book - a romantic adventure novel.
Mrs. Arbouin always said, "I just want to make sure that these kids leave first grade reading", and read, they did. Mrs. Arbouin was passionate about teaching and gave her all to every single student who graced her class.
She was already missed by all when she retired. She will be missed even moreso now. Her memory will live on in our hearts and in the halls of Juarez Academy for years to come.
Since Mrs. Arbouin loved colorful wildflowers, hummingbirds, butterflies, and sunsets, Juarez Academy will dedicate a garden to her honor along with a reading bench that will remind us of her passion for reading and her unyielding dedication to the education of young children.
Mrs. Arbouin is survived by her husband, Arnold Arbouin, and her children, Brittany Arbouin Lewis, Heather Arbouin, and Megan Arbouin.
